Karen Berg,

Founder

Karen Berg has committed her life to introducing the teachings of Kabbalah to the world and to expanding the role of women in spirituality and in the global community. As co-director and co-founder of The Kabbalah Centre International, the largest educational and spiritual organization dedicated to the teachings of this ancient but timeless wisdom, Karen remains passionate about the ability of Kabbalah to be used as a practical tool for self-improvement. Under her inspirational guidance, The Kabbalah Centre has grown from its beginnings in a one-story schoolhouse to a global presence with more than 50 locations worldwide that provide instruction to nearly four million students.

Karen is a driving force behind the Spirituality for Kids Foundation (SFK), an early childhood education program that has enriched the lives of thousands of families. SFK provides children with grounded, practical, and universal spiritual tools that they can use to transform their negative belief systems and overcome the challenges they face, no matter how difficult that may seem. The program is inclusive and diverse, offered without regard to race, religion, gender, culture, or other differences.

With her husband [of 40 years] , the preeminent Kabbalist Rav Berg, Karen Berg has guided and developed The Kabbalah Centre and Spirituality for Kids into a respected, expanding international association of spiritual learning centers. She has written extensively on parenting, relationships, and spirituality, and she regularly travels and lectures around the world, offering wisdom and support to those in need. Karen lives in Los Angeles, California, with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Michal Berg,

President

Michal Berg began her career with The Kabbalah Centre as a young woman. After studying with the Centre for ten years, she was asked to manage the flagship Kabbalah Centre in Los Angeles, where she demonstrated her many skills and advanced quickly in the organization. Michal then was put in charge of Event Planning and Management and built the participation from a few hundred to more than 3,000 people, successfully hosting huge international events several times a year.

After marrying Yehuda Berg, son of Rav and Karen Berg, and having children together, Michal became involved in developing a children’s curriculum for the Kabbalah Children’s Academy in Los Angeles. This led to her creating children’s products for The Kabbalah Centre stores and overseeing all KCI production.

Her involvement with the Kabbalah Children’s Academy, her keen interest in the welfare of children, and her belief in Karen Berg’s vision that the children of the world are in crisis and desperately need universal spiritual tools to overcome the challenges they face has brought Michal to where she is today. As Director of Spirituality for Kids, Michal’s goal is to bring SFK’s ground-breaking experiential program to children everywhere, by working to make it widely available to all teachers, counselors, and caregivers who want to make a real difference in children’s lives.

Michal Berg currently lives in Los Angeles, California, with her husband and five young children.
