LATELY AT SPIRITUALITY FOR KIDS . . .
3,2,1 Spirituality for Kids is in launch mode once again!
As most of you know from our previous announcement on September 15th, in addition to an upgrade in design, SFK’s website has changed over from free access to paid content – a carefully considered and strategic decision made to keep the online program, with two levels available in 5 languages, growing. Revenues from this move will be used to fund additional content development, such as more educational content and videos for children as well as parents.
The charitable arm of SFK will continue to raise funds necessary to provide classes for schools and organizations, and scholarships for individuals who cannot afford the program.
Online & On Point:
IMPACT, DIVERSITY and REACH
Monthly unique visitors to the website: over 10,000
“…Then I stumbled upon your website. The concepts are explained so clearly and in such a fun interactive manner. It is just what I was looking for.” — Manjari Agrawal, teacher from Mumbai, India
“ I spent a great deal of time trying to find the perfect words for what I was looking at implementing in my classroom. As I searched, voila…..the right and perfect website…..Yours! I’ve looked at the lessons and they are absolutely amazing […] I love the approach and think this is exactly what is needed for young minds. Thank you for sharing and creating this incredible curriculum.” — Deborah, teacher from Apple Valley, CA, USA
“SFK is an exceptional program for all children. As a therapeutic foster mom, I work with traumatized children that exhibit inappropriate and extremely reactive behaviors. SFK has helped my kids immensely by creating a platform where they can actually learn and feel how their behavior affects others including the residual feelings within them after their display of selfish reactive behavior. SFK has exceptional materials, workbooks and projects that help create a fun and lasting bond between the child and the parent.” — Alina N., foster parent from Miami, FL USA
“l thank God that there are people who think of children and their future. I will work with my children through all the materials you’re providing us. God bless you.” — Javier Borda, parent from Tauramena, Colombia
Leonidas Ndayizeye, who runs a ministry in Burundi and Rwanda in East Africa, found SFK Online and wanted to use the program.
The only problem was he didn’t have reliable internet, and neither a DVD player to play the video collection, nor the money to buy one. so SFK bought one and sent it to him together with the teaching kit, completely free Of charge. Overjoyed to have the SFK materials, Leonidas plans to bring the program to children in these countries through the work of his ministries.
Inside the Classroom
A staff member at a women’s prison in La Paz, Bolivia, shared this story.
“A boy (who was not a student of SFK) came to class without a pencil (due to the poor financial situation Of his mother) and one of our kids broke his new pencil in two, and gave him the other half. When the teacher scolded him for breaking his pencil, the kid told her that in his “class about the Light”, they had taught him that he should share (just like a candle shares its light).”
