I’m so excited to report that this year we started SFK in 2 schools in East Jerusalem:

In Alkhawarzmi School for Girls, in Anata, we have students from grades 3 to 6, a total of 400 students. I trained 20 teachers in this school to start teaching SFK Level One: Winning the Game of Life.

In Elaswaya School for Girls, I have been training 23 teachers to teach Level Two: Exploring the Jiourney of Life to 410 students of the shool. They finished SFK Level One: Winning the Game of Life last year.

My goal and wish for this year is to help teachers and students gain a deeper understanding and live by the SFK concepts and teachings. And to keep reaching more students and parents in the coming years to go through the SFK Programs to improve their lives.

Also, this month I had the privilege to start introducing the SFK activities and concepts to the employees of The Four Homes of Mercy in Jerusalem – Bethany (Al-Azariyah), giving them new tools and skills of social and emotional learning to help them with their important work. This organization provides specialized residential services and respite care for adults and children with congenital and acquired neurological disorders. They believe that all disabled people should have the opportunity to enjoy an optimal quality of life.
