Our Mission with L.B. – Discovering the Inner Light is to inspire children everywhere to recognize, trust, and connect with their inner Light. Through the heartfelt story of L.B., we aim to nurture emotional resilience, self-awareness, and a sense of inner wisdom in young readers.
We envision this beautiful and impactful book reaching schools, libraries, hospitals, and homes to support children in navigating life with courage and confidence.
SFK is self-publishing L.B. – Discovering the Inner Light, and 100% of the profits from book sales will go directly toward printing more copies, both for continued distribution and for donating books to children and communities who may not otherwise have access.

Meet the Author
Michal is passionate about helping children and parents recognize their inherent loving power, wisdom, and connection to the Source of all. For as long as Michal can remember, she has felt guided and never alone, a connection she has always sought to understand and deepen. This desire inspired her, from a young age, to explore various spiritual practices and paths. Ultimately, these journeys led her back to the simple practice of going inward when seeking guidance and connection.
As a mother of five young adults, whom she considers her greatest teachers, Michal brings valuable insights to her work. She is the CEO of SFK, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating, training, and providing spiritual and social-emotional programs available in six languages for children from diverse backgrounds around the world. Additionally, she is a professional parenting coach and the creator of the program “Parenting The Soul.”

Meet the Illustrator
Margarita Sada earned her degree in Graphic Design at the School of Design at the INBA and a Master’s in Fine Arts with a specialty in painting at the Academy of San Carlos, UNAM.
She currently dedicates herself to painting and illustrating children’s books. She has more than 40 books published with some of the country’s most influential commercial and institutional publishers.
Her work has been exhibited in national and international spaces and in the illustration workshops she has taught.
She won the award for the best-illustrated book by CANIEM for Editorial Art for the book Venir del Mar in 2005. The following year, she received the Honorable Mention for the illustrated book by CANIEM for Editorial Art with Yo, Claudia.
In 2013, she won the award for best-illustrated book and was given the International Latino Book Award for the book Guacamole by the Canadian publisher Groundwood Books. In 2016, the illustrated book Introduction to Concert Music: Water by Editorial Océano Travesía won the Parents Choice Award.
In 2017, she was selected to create the official image for the 37th edition of the International Children’s and Youth Book Fair (Filij).
In 2018, she joined the National System of Art Creators and is currently writing her first graphic novel.
