Don’t feel guilty to…

Do you feel like you’ve lost touch with the person you were before kids?

If you are an empathic and sensitive parent, most probably, you find yourself knowing and tending to your child’s needs even before they are aware of them; you pick on their energy and thoughts and act with compassion and deep care.

These are incredible abilities, but when we merge like that with our children, we tend to enable them to lose touch with our needs and wants and we feel burned out quickly.

Learning to be present and engaged with our children while not losing ourselves is an important balancing act to learn.

Practicing self-care can be challenging for an empath; we see it as selfish or a luxury. But, when you do, you claim parts of yourself that you lost over time through living outside of your body and your core. Recovering these parts will not only nourish you and all your other relationships but also teach your children an important lesson of self-love and self-worth.
