Life and the world can often feel out of control, especially for our children.
It is from natural disasters, wars, a sick family member, to how a friend or a sibling behaves or speaks to them, that our children often feel scared, upset, or sad.
In this week’s SFK Family activity, through writing, discussion, and an art project, you can have a meaningful conversation with your children, recognizing what is In and Out of their control.
Learning to let go of what we don’t have control over and focus on what we do, will help our children feel less anxious and allow them to earn a sense of empowerment.
We would love to hear from you about your experience with this activity, and please share with others you know can benefit from it.
