Level One: The Game of Life

We get it: life can be demanding and stressful for everyone, especially children. The good news is that every child has the ability to manage their emotions; they just need to be shown how. The 12 SFK lessons are taught through a young boy’s adventure. He discovers that he must learn, understand, and play by the simple rules of the game in order to get back home to his own life. Together with your boys and girls, our friend discovers that the lessons he is learning in the in the game apply to his real life as well!

  • Lesson One: Winning in the Game of Life

  • Lesson Two: Fulfillment

  • Lesson Three: The Light

Level Two: Exploring the Journey of Life

In Level Two, you help your child dive into a deeper exploration of how social-emotional tools can help them in everyday situations. Is SFK a non-profit? 2017-06-18T13:34:35+00:00

SFK is a global non-profit that seeks to spread social-emotional education to every child, everywhere. In accordance with that mission, SFK charges those in communities (like the US) where the population can afford to pay and uses that revenue to subsidize the programs they offer for free in developing nations where children need to not only be offered the classes, but internet and laptops as well.

Is SFK religious? 2017-06-18T13:35:44+00:00

No, SFK is not religious. It is a secular social-emotional learning program. From the beginning, SFK has served all faiths and those who do not have a faith affiliation equally. Children from families that identify as Muslim, Christian, Jewish, “Spiritual but Not Religious,” and atheist have all participated and had the same positive outcomes.

Who is SFK for? 2017-06-07T20:08:55+00:00

Every child is equally at risk in this complex and ever changing world, and the SFK program was developed to serve them all equally.  From affluent areas of Miami, NYC and London to the slums of Rio De Janeiro and rural villages in Africa – SFK has improved lives. It is considered best for kids between the ages of 6-12.

What is the time commitment? 2017-06-18T13:37:15+00:00

Most families say they spend 45 minutes per week for 12 weeks on the program, but everyone can choose their own pace. In Level One there are 12 short videos between 5-10 minutes in length with student activities that follow. You can go as quickly or as slowly as you choose.

How does SFK work? 2017-06-18T13:37:38+00:00

SFK teaches its social-emotional toolkit through short online videos and workbook exercises that can be completed from anywhere with a tablet or computer and an internet connection.
